Jessica Zu is a PhD candidate (ABD) in the Department of Religion, Princeton University. She is currently writing her dissertation entitled “Revolution of the Consciousness: Lü Cheng’s 吕瀓 Yogācārin (R)evolution for Disrupting Social Darwinism, 1919–1966.” In 2017 she was invited to give a talk at the University of Oslo’s Buddhist Studies Forum, titled “A Social Turn of Yogācāra Soteriology in Modern China.”
