{"id":143,"date":"2017-01-28T19:28:02","date_gmt":"2017-01-28T10:28:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jpars.org\/english\/?page_id=143"},"modified":"2017-01-28T19:28:02","modified_gmt":"2017-01-28T10:28:02","slug":"75th-annual-conference","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/jpars.org\/english\/annual-conference\/75th-annual-conference","title":{"rendered":"75th Annual Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Report on the 75th Annual Conference of the JARS<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By The International Connections Committee<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>JARS held its 75th annual conference at Waseda University in Tokyo from September 9-11, 2016.\u00a0 A total of 627 people, including 75 non-member participants, attended.\u00a0 We owe the success of the conference to our conference organizers, and above all, to chief organizer, Professor Teruhisa Tajima.<\/p>\n<p>The theme of this year\u2019s opening symposium was \u201cBasic Problems of the Philosophy of Religion\u201d.\u00a0 Professor Emeritus Klause Riesenhuber of Sophia University made a public lecture entitled \u201cDie Frage nach dem Sinn: Zur Regrundung von Religionsphilosophie\u201d in Japanese, followed by two assigned commentators\u2019 comments and questions.
